I searched for Martin's guide to cost-cutting on my car insurance and found that Admiral is the cheapest. The policy engines to decent with adequate, protected NCB and rental cars.
But many people seem to have all sorts of problems with them when they ave right by them (check them on reviewcentre.com).
Can you confirm what they like to know if claims? All experiences, good or bad will be gratefully acknowledged.
I have worked with them for a while.
Had the 1st Demand a few years ago - very easy no problems, and NC as my bonus was not to my premium.
In my experience most people only use the online evaluations for their insurers if they have a bad experience. Thus the larger insurers automatically from poor in the form of online reviews of sheer numbers, even if the actual percentage of dissatisfied customers is the same.

I myself think the same. That is why I thought I had a thread here and experience with other people to help with my decision. As someone who has difficulty with, such a claim was dealt with before I'm especially tired of the election of a company that may not be the best when it comes to claims.
The admiral quote I have almost 100 is cheaper than my renewal of my current insurer. The next lowest rate is 60 times more expensive than admiral, hence the reason why I did not have the decision easy!
As I said earlier, all views will be invited.
I have insurance with Admiral, and argued that with no trouble whatever. They are always cheaper for me, and I like the amount of coverage.

Be careful if you have to pay rates. We went to a Multicar policy last week with them, but their free installment was very high compared to others, so it was not that competitive on the whole to be paid in the year.
Do not quote their APR or monthly payments to their online offerings, you must ring. I have, and they claimed that they only pay 8.5% annual percentage rate, but when I urged that they said there is an additional "discount" (they do not everywhere) for the payment in full, you lose and then pay interest on the UN Special. It was more like a 30% + APR, if you have them on the basis of the on-screen price compared to a total to pay.
I was also with Admiral for the years in which young and never had any problems with them on a number of claims. I have noticed that when I started around 30 when they made it more expensive, as in other countries.
We were with Admiral, if my wife had an accident in the 08th May. It has still not been solved - I must say, it's the combination of Admiral and help Albany seems to be that the problem (Albany support appear to their demands). They have been slow on certain things, and so were somewhat sporadic. Apart from Zurich, the insurance of the other party appear to have given the Admiral around by misleading letter (that's what Admiral us anyway).
We are no longer with the Admiral, because I have a better offer with LV.
Had I stayed where it was with Admiral quote cheaper - yes. Okay, they have been slow in this case the processing of the claim and therefore we are still £ 160 (this is the value of our on), but sometimes these things happen. The fact is, when the accident happened, the repairs were quick and we have a free car (if you call it that!). I think that a big company, you get a mix of opinions.

I assume that the slowness they relate to recovering costs from the third party insurer?
After thinking about my own situation, I would really want a quick turnaround on repairs and a courtesy / rental car delivered while they are held. Unfortunately, the regulators with a third party insurer, regardless of whether it is for damage to a vehicle or injury can be a significant amount of time and probably not much different than other insurers.
Can anyone offer any other experiences?
I saw them a long time ago and they are cheap and efficient ....
I have been with Admiral for a year and argued for a smashed window, she handled it all very well. It took a while for the car to collect and solid, but that was the actual company, which deals with Windows (RAC, I think) not Admiral.
In no longer with them on a payment by closing an account and being told I had to fully pay, rather than with another account and continuing with the monthly payments.
So I have my business elsewhere, it may have been part of my mistakes, but I found it unhelpful that.
I have worked with Admiral, Diamond and Bell (all part of the same group as Elephant). I had a right with a diamond and they were quite ok. The other party withdrew its feet, but with all Diamond Comms were good, and they called me back, if necessary.
Interesting that Diamond wants my money, but dont Admiral lol. Thought I was stubborn as well and theyre all in the same group. Humph.
Also I think they (the group) if you are on an oldish Chuck Person (50 years, clean license, no accidents) on your policy as a named driver, it brings the insurance considerably. A car dropped from over £ 500 to £ 320 Add to my father (I'm 29). My other insurance went from £ 1300 to £ 810th
Not impressed with their Multicar on at all! Here is our experience ...
Despite their advertising, we are actually much more expensive.
We pay more for 1 Car than other listed companies for a long time, (that would be cheaper if we added 2nd car if the insurance has expired.) Trying to do this today. Current insurer quoted 105 & taxes (OK, it's an old Runaround, and we have no claims max) 205 to Admiralspalast want them to existing multi-car policy, 100 more / almost doubled!
Was on the phone for an hour (bl00dy 0871-number!) Trying to do this feeling, but it can be sent from pillar to post and not budging on that inflated figure! In fact, they are chuntering about us pay more, as they say, we had a discount at our 1st Car on the basis we will be another! Even in these so-called discount they are entitled to we, the policy is still more expensive than many other offerings.
Your admin / call center is pretty rubbish too, you pay for the privilege of calling them, but they can not seem to exactly their role. They originally nasal us to make mistakes and get our false registration information. Today's call ended with us will be cut off and our questions / problems unresolved.
Update: To insult to injury, they 've now has given us a letter telling us that they take 30 from the credit card we originally paid. This is to repay the "Discount" (remember that the original car was more expensive than other areas of politics, but we have long term!) The we have received, if you have a Multicar policy. Apparently we no longer qualify for this discount, as we refuse to pay an additional 100 on competitor to the 2nd Car!
Frustrated that they can do this, and very upset that they allowed falsley advertise in this way.
Do not bother with Admiral MULTI-CAR POLICY!
