Offer to call back if a delay to resolve the problem. UK call centers! Excellent service so far, just been to put through my renewal and had found a better deal but they did everything in their power to get the quote down to keep me and they have managed. Have been with Tesco car insurance for 4 years now and never had any problems at all."

When you get anything cheap or cheapish there is always a catch with it and with Tesco Car insurance its certainly the case. If you anyone ever wants to get a Fully Comprehensive Car insurance Cover from Tesco Finance be very aware that you need to pay extra for courtesy car in any incident where you lose use of your car. So the Fully Comprehensive Car Insurance Cover in TESCO'S book should be actually in practice be called SEMI COMPREHENSIVE CAR INSURANCE COVER and also make sure you go through them small prints specially if you are a young driver to find out how much you could be forking out on excess just because of your age.. General Comments
The so called Tesco Car Insurance wasnt that bad at accident recovery as its carried out by GreenFlag recovery Luckily its not managed by the Tesco itself or people would end up on the hard shoulder till next Christmas. I am disappointed with the level of service I have had off TESCO CAR INSURANCE , 1. I thought when anyone says FULLY comprensive it should cover basics of car insurance like legal cover,personal injury,courtesy car and stuff like that. BUT if its the case of TESCO then i would certainly make sure there is nothing you havent read, before, they tell you OH WE ARE SORRY BUT THAT PART OF YOUR INSURANCE IS AN EXTRA FEATURE AND YOU ARE NOT COVERED FOR IT .. Be Very Careful ... Cheers.."

"Please be aware when getting a quote from Tesco Car Insurance. I asked for protected no claims bonus - the figure in the quote shows this included but when you go to the final screen to enter your financial details - this is not shown as part of the cover - I spoke to Tesco help desk and they said the final figure did not include this protection even though it showed in the quotation. Read the details - fortunately I spotted this before pressing the "buy" button."

General Comments
I had to claim on my Tesco Value car insurance one month after getting it, a van smashed into my car whilst it was parked at home. Was weekend night so spoke to tescos emergency people who offered to come and rescue car immediately. (Normal insurance section closed at evenings and weekends) Car was taken away to their repair centre to be fixed the very next morning. Had some difficulties (not Tesco's fault) as van driver gave 2 incorrect lots of insurance details before getting right ones, but Tescos were very good, chased around after him, even got me a courtesey car out of the other insurance company when they admitted liablilty whilst my car was in repair. Have found Tescos to be helpful and friendly when spoken to them, they keep in good contact and would recommend them."
